Kāhala Dog Walking is one walker, one phone, one route. I started in 2019 walking my own three dogs and a few neighbors' along the same loop near Diamond Head, and the schedule grew from there. Today I'm out midday, every weekday, with a short list of regulars I know by name. What you get is what you'd want from a friend down the street: same walker every visit, a short photo and a one-line update after each walk, and someone who actually pays attention to the small stuff — which dog needs more shade, which one slows down on the uphill, which one will pretend not to know you for the first ten minutes. I'm fully insured, carry a leash slip-knot for safety, and pick up after every dog. New clients: a 20-minute meet-and-greet first, no charge. If we're a good fit we set up a weekly schedule from there.

    A solid neighborhood loop. Good for medium-energy dogs, seniors who still want to move, or as the second walk of the day. One dog per visit. Same walker every time.

    A longer route with shade breaks. Right for high-energy dogs, working-from-home owners who want their dog properly tired by lunch, or any dog that does better with more time on its feet.

  • Drop-In Pet Sit

    A 20-minute home visit when you're out for the day or away overnight. Fresh water, food per your instructions, a short play, and a photo update before I leave. Cats welcome.

    Overnight stay at your home. Dinner walk, breakfast walk, and I sleep on the couch. Best for dogs that get anxious in unfamiliar places. Limited availability around Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.

    Three 30-minute walks each week, billed monthly. Same days, same time, same walker. Roughly 12 walks per month. About a 13% discount versus paying per walk.
